Hey all! I’ve recently gotten a little obsessed with the idea of making better coffee at home. I picked up a basic pour-over setup and a grinder, and now I want to start using better beans. The problem is, there are so many options—blends, origins, roasts, Arabica vs Robusta—and it’s a little overwhelming. I don’t want to waste time or money on coffee that looks cool but tastes “meh.” What should I look for as a beginner if I want something smooth, flavorful, and not overly bitter?
