what's great about the anime is that it captures the intensity of the game. everyone has a goal and they are doing everything they can to get there. there are various characters as well, but what really stands out is the beyblade. it is created by a fictional beigoma academy school, which is filled with rich, powerful people, and a gang of wannabe bladers. these rich characters are a mixed group. their parents are wealthy, and they are consumed with the idea of being a top blader, while at the same time, they aren't very good. being a better person is also part of the story, although no real characters are introduced. what sets it apart is the beyblade. it is the backbone of this series, and the staff decide to make the best of it.
among the various beyblades, two are special. they are lightning beys, which as you can guess, are very fast. the other is the helios bey. it belongs to the same legendary family as the lightning beys, and has the ability to create a thermal beam which attacks opponents. because of their heroic nature, they are honoured with special beyblade statues, and granted great power. both can be upgraded, which upgrades the attack power. the upgrades are not meant to be permanent, and the normal function is restored. the main thing to remember is that they are a weapon, not a toy. in episode 3, the two are taken away for training. the mecha are taken to a secret location and put in a room. the room is filled with fans which blow onto the top armor. as the fans blow on it, it heats up and creates a thermal beam, which is used against the toy. if the beam is reflected, it is weakened. the two are confronted with an upgrade they haven't seen yet, and they are forced to fight. 3d9ccd7d82
