Plus, if you’re traveling with a car, the ferry is convenient for road trips. You can just drive on, keep your luggage with you, and then drive off when you reach Spain. It’s definitely a unique way to start a vacation!

I think taking the ferry from the UK to Spain can be a wonderful part of the travel experience. For me, the convenience really depends on your personal preferences. If you love the idea of a relaxed journey and aren’t in a hurry to reach your destination, the ferry can be very appealing. Also, if you enjoy scenic routes, a ferry trip offers some lovely ocean views, and there’s something quite peaceful about watching the waves and the changing sky over the course of the trip.
